Fantasy and Epic AI Videos with Seedance 2.0: A Complete Prompt Guide
Dragons, castles, warriors and ancient magic. The fantasy genre was made for AI video generation.
Fantasy is one of the largest and most passionate audiences in content creation, and the genre is perfectly suited to AI video. The visual elements that define fantasy — massive scale, spectacular magic, ancient architecture, mythical creatures — are exactly the kind of specific visual detail that Seedance 2.0 renders best.
Building a Fantasy World Through Prompts
The most effective approach to fantasy video content is thinking like a worldbuilder. Every prompt is an opportunity to add another layer to a consistent visual universe. The dragons, the architecture, the magic system, the lighting — all of these should feel like they belong to the same world.
8 Fantasy Prompts to Build Your World
The Dragon's Arrival
A massive ancient dragon with obsidian scales and amber eyes descending from storm clouds over a medieval city, its wingspan blocking the sun, citizens fleeing below while knights stand their ground. Ultra-wide low angle, dramatic storm backlight. Terrifying, majestic, inevitability. Grey storm light with dragon-fire amber glow.
The Forest God Waking
An ancient forest deity emerging from the earth after centuries of sleep, their body made of living wood and stone, trees bowing as they rise, a crown of ancient vines. Slow emergence from below, wide. Ancient, vast, primordial. Green bioluminescent with dawn light.
The Paladin's Last Stand
A lone paladin in battered holy armour making a final stand at a ruined temple entrance, their sacred light the only thing holding back the darkness, knowing they will not survive. Static wide, holy golden light vs encroaching shadow. Heroic, sacrificial, sacred. Pure contrast of light and dark.
The Dragon Rider's First Flight
A young dragon rider taking their first proper flight, the dragon testing their bond with aerial maneuvers through mountain passes, both discovering the nature of their partnership. Dynamic aerial, dawn mountain light. Freedom, trust, new beginning. Clear mountain air, golden dawn.
The Forbidden Library
A vast magical library where the most dangerous books are chained to their shelves, a young scholar discovering that one chain has broken, the book already open on an alarming page. Tracking past shelves, warm dangerous light. Knowledge, danger, discovery. Old gold library light with cold blue from the broken chain.
The Blood Moon Ritual
A coven of witches completing a ritual under a full blood moon in a stone circle, the power they summon older than their tradition, the air itself changing colour around them. Wide ceremonial, blood moon red light. Dark, powerful, ancient. Deep red with shadow.
The War Council Eve
Military commanders gathered around a map table the night before the final battle, each one knowing it may be their last night alive, the strategy and the human underneath it simultaneously visible. Intimate candlelit scene, faces partially in shadow. Tense, human, historic. Warm candlelight with cold window moonlight.
Sky Whale Migration
A migration of enormous sky whales crossing above a medieval city at dawn, their song felt more than heard, every person in the city stopping their work to watch in reverence. Wide aerial to upturned faces below. Wonder, reverence, ancient cycle. Dawn mist with whale bioluminescence.
The Fantasy Advantage
Fantasy prompts give you complete creative freedom because the genre has no requirement to reflect reality. Every element can be imagined, specified and visualized. The more specific your fantasy world in the prompt, the more immersive the video output becomes.
